A brilliant drumkit opens the remix and establishes the direction immediately. The strings that follow are wonderful, adding a dreamlike quality that Carrellee’s vocal styling only deepens. Her cadence sits within the track in a way that feels hypnotic rather than merely decorative. The bassline underneath pulls everything forward with a steady, understated momentum.

This is the kind of remix that adds something rather than simply repositioning what was already there. STRAIGHT RAZOR understood the source material and built on it rather than over it.
