AGNIS – Creatures of the Night (CZARINA Reimagined)

AGNIS is a Polish darkpop solo project from Agnieszka Leśna, signed to darkTunes Music Group. Her sound blends darkwave, EBM, and what she terms witchpop, a fierce mix of mysticism, raw energy, and dancefloor instinct. “Creatures of the Night” is one of her strongest tracks and CZARINA reimagining of it takes it somewhere unexpected.

The remix gives the song what we can only describe as an ‘epic’ type feel to it. CZARINA’s approach brings a gothic, medieval electronic sound that is genuinely difficult to describe in conventional genre terms. Cinematic is perhaps the closest word? The energy is pulsating and driving but the atmosphere sits above it like something ancient and vast. It is a combination that should not work as well as it does.

AGNIS’s vocals remain the anchor throughout. Her presence in the track is what keeps the reimagining grounded rather than drifting into pure spectacle. The collaboration between these two artists leaves us wanting more. Both are operating at a high level and the chemistry is evident.

darkTunes Music Group continues to facilitate some of the most interesting collaborations in the current dark electronic scene. This is another strong example.
