AGNIS – Halloween Night (Vioflesh Remix)

AGNIS is a darkwave and industrial pop project out of Poland. Vioflesh needs little introduction at this point. Both are on darkTunes Music Group, and this Halloween remix is exactly the kind of collaboration that makes sense on paper and delivers in practice.

Vioflesh’s signature synthesizer sound design is immediately recognizable throughout. The drumkit selection is a departure from what you might expect from a typical Vioflesh production, but it works well within the context of the song rather than feeling out of place. A catchy arp pattern drives much of the verse sections and gives the track its hypnotic momentum. AGNIS’s vocals sit above all of it with a flickering allure that carries both mystery and presence.

The result is eerie, atmospheric, and built for Halloween night in the best possible sense. Fantasy, desire, and gothic spirit in equal measure.

Both artists are on darkTunes and the chemistry is obvious. More collaborations between these two would be welcome.
