Hallows – This Love

“This Love” is a single off of Dream, the upcoming Artoffact Records release from Los Angeles dark electronic duo Hallows, which is out on June 5, 2026. It’s a strong preview.

The bassline drives the song, and everything built around it earns its place. The pads and keys are excellent throughout, and Vanee Dusoruth’s ethereal vocals only add to what the instrumentation already establishes.

Hallows are Dusoruth and Dom Rolando, both originally from Mauritius. They met as teenagers, eventually landing in Fargo, North Dakota for university, where they discovered DIY punk and noise scenes before moving through Minneapolis and Seattle to Los Angeles. Both earned PhDs in 2019, the same year the project came together.

They’ve been building steadily since the 2020 debut EP on Phage Tapes, through two full-lengths on Cold Transmission and Stoic Media, and a first European tour in 2025. Dream with Artoffact feels like the next step.
