BLACKBOOK is a Swiss-Dutch synthpop duo formed in 2018. “Nobody Loves You” is a single from their upcoming album “Different,” due April 3, 2026 on darkTunes Music Group.

The song opens with the sound of a cassette tape being inserted, a brief nostalgic moment before a driving bassline kicks in. BLACKBOOK’s vocals are immediately identifiable and arrive within the first fifteen or so seconds. The chorus follows quickly and it is the track’s real strength. Catchy, concise, and immediately recognizable. “Nobody loves me, nobody loves me like you do” will stay with you well after the song ends.

The bittersweet quality beneath the energy is what gives the track its depth. The lyrics address the bleak realization of loving someone who cannot receive it, but the production frames that feeling with enough drive and momentum that it never tips into self-pity. Emotion and rhythm in balance, which is what BLACKBOOK do well.

A strong lead-in to what “Different” promises to deliver.
