Beyond Border – Aftermath

Beyond Border – Aftermath

Beyond Border is the project of vocalist Iggi and synth programmer Deity, with live keyboardist René Brandt completing the lineup. “Aftermath” is their third studio album and the final chapter of the Welcome To The Future trilogy, following Awakening and Gathering. Produced by Rob Dust and released March 27, 2026, the album covers internal and external battles across its runtime: identity, war, devotion, forgiveness, and what remains when the storm has passed. Collaborations with Ruined Conflict and Terrolokaust appear on “Last Dance” and “I Fall” respectively.

The album is a strong close to the trilogy. Heavy, pounding beats paired with clear synth lines and emotional depth that does not sacrifice danceability for feeling. Tracks like “To Hell And Back,” “War,” and “Church” cover the album’s thematic ground with the kind of futurepop construction Beyond Border have been refining across three records.

“Last Dance,” featuring Ruined Conflict, is the standout. Aggressive, immediately danceable, and built for a club floor at full volume. The energy is exceptional and the track sits at the peak of what the album has to offer. On an album with many great songs, this one rises above.

Beyond Border won the M’era Luna Newcomer Competition and have been building momentum steadily. A 2026 tour accompanies the release, and a bonus remix edition features contributions from Mesh, Eisfabrik, and Alienare. The trilogy is complete and it ends on a high.
