Best Darkwave Releases of March 2026
March delivered some exceptional tracks. Here are the five that stayed on repeat.
5. Vioflesh — The Spell
The vocals and the lead line are quite memorable and we found this song in our rotation throughout the month.
4. Beyond Border — Last Dance
An aggressive, easily danceable track from Beyond Border. An exceptional song on an album that has many great songs.
3. Tania Cassette — The Flame
In her first solo release after the hiatus of Glass Spells, Tania Cassette proves she can re-create the formula that made Glass Spells so special.
2. Mesh — This World
The piano elements from Mesh give the song a nice, dreamlike vibe. The vocals are quite crisp and give this futurepop track an epic feel.
1. Ductape — Obscure
Ductape is back with a post-punk classic. The guitars, the vocals, the synths - everything about this song is brilliant. There’s a particular excitement every time the opening guitars come in around the 30 second mark.
